WordPress Tutorial (01) – How to add a Page on a WordPress Website easily

Let us learn on how we to add a page on a WordPress Website, also we would be covering in details on the additional features available at each phase, what it means? and how it will help you!

This tutorial is to help everyone who is new (Beginner) to building website and is brave to give it a shot by themselves.

STEP 1 – LOGIN TO YOUR WP-ADMIN AND GO TO PAGES

Firstly, Login to your WordPress Admin Page > Mysite, then you need to choose the option Pages under Site, once you click on Pages you would see the pre-existent pages based on the theme selected as shown in the illustration below.

STEP 2 – go to add pages

In order to add a new page, press on the pink button on right hand side of the page below the search bar as shown in the illustration below.

STEP 3 – GO TO ADD PAGES

Once you click on add pages, based on your themes you get various page options that include a Blank Page, About Pages, Blog Pages, Contact Pages, Portfolio Pages, Services Pages & Home Pages. Based on your choice you can choose a page you wish to edit and upload.

For this Tutorial, we would be choosing the “Services Page”, and click on “Use Services layout” it will immediately launch the page where in you can edit the important details based on the search engine optimized content you have written.

STEP 5edit the needful content

Firstly, you need to ensure that you have an SEO optimized content available for each of your service offering, and please ensure that your information is crisp and serves the best interest of your users.

STEP 6 – publish your page

Once you include all your needed content on the page, always remember to review the webpage and check the websites appearance across different gadget before you go ahead and publish it.

Please Note: Sometimes if you have really long headers or titles there are chances that the mobile usability screen may show a little indifference, if so all you need to do is go back to the edit page option a re-edit the same.

STEP 6 – awesome now your page is live
